Job Opportunity: Operations Manager

Chebeague Transportation Co., which provides daily ferry service between Chebeague Island and Yarmouth, Me., seeks operations manager to oversee staff of licensed captains, deckhands and land-based transportation providers. Duties include directing day-to-day business, strategic planning, personnel management and finances. Identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong ties to island community are high priorities. Ideal candidate should be familiar with maritime operations and business development, and have proven ability to professionalize small organizations. Knowledge of marine facilities/vessels desirable, but not mandatory. Salary range negotiable based on qualifications.
